This outstanding Cru is a blend made from a selection of international grape varieties from the best and oldest Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot vineyards of the estate
The grapes are manually harvested, with the vinifi cation taking place separately by variety in stainless steel vats and aged for 14 months in 350 litres French oak tonneaux. This is followed by a further 10 months in bottle. This brightly coloured red wine is the archetype Rocca di Montemassi, displaying notes of blackcurrants, tobacco and spices.
