Vinification and Maturation
The grapes are fermented in traditional vertical vinification tanks, in which the wine macerates on the skins for 12 days. After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations have taken place, the wine is matured for 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels in order to give it greater harmony and complexity

BouquetElegant, with floral notes and hints of wild red- and blackcurrants.
FlavourFull-bodied and well-balanced; slightly tannic when young.
Serving TemperatureUp until three years of age, we recommend that it be drunk at 16°C. (61°F.); from its third to its fifth year, at 18°-20°C. (64°-68°F.).
Ideal with roasts, grilled red meats, game or moderately-aged cheeses (from Grana to Vezzena).
